| @TreehuggnCowgirl: I think that for this game it's more logical to take the maximum distance, as you take the minimum for the nearest countries quiz (Brazil is at 0 km from Bolivia, but only if you are in the border). Seemingly it wouldn't make any difference, however (if you take the shortest Venezuela-Vietnam distance, the third column would change, but the farthest countries would still be these), but to exclude any case in which this couldn't be true, now the directions say it explicitly. As for not showing the continents, I think the quiz would become extremely difficult. Take into account that in the nearest countries quiz (without continent hints) only 2 % of the players got the perfect score, and there are 12 cases in which the countries border one another, which makes that quiz much easier than this one). Imagine this game without continents: Suriname Sri Lanka? Sweden Samoa? Spain Solomon Islands? St Kitts and Nevis Singapore? You can't enter countries at random like in other quizzes, here you must guess binary combinations. |
