	Honolulu is really that livable? I was expecting San Francisco or Boston, which unlike the rest of the US have excellent walkability, public transportation, clean, spacious and great quality of life, low crime and poverty. I was surprised not to see ONE more US city, maybe something like Denver or Salt Lake City possibly because Honolulu is certainly smaller then that

	@roman-im with you. when boston and sanfran didnt work, i then tried seattle and portland, thinking one of those would definitely be there.

	The countries, while essential to the puzzle, are a dead giveaway to the cities (except USA, Japan). For example, what city are you automatically going to guess when you see "Denmark"? Copenhagen. And "Norway"? Oslo.

	I've seen these same lists with Vancouver at the top. I guess it depends on the source, as obviously livability is a matter of opinion.

	Paris, while popular, should not be on this list. Unless livable is defined by something other than safe, clean, affordable, etc.

	Paris must have one of the highest crimes rates in western Europe, so I guess safety and low criminality are not part of 'liveable'.

	@hilco: I assume they did not count the metro area of Paris, but only the actual city with 2 million inhabitants - and without the banlieus...

	I have been to about half of these cities and I would consider New York to be equivalent to most of them. (I am not an American)
