| The California Golden Seals of the NHL moved to Cleveland in 1976, spent two years there and then merged with the Minnesota North Stars in 1978. Also, what happened to the New York Giants/Brooklyn Dodgers moving to California? The Hurricanes were in Richmond as stated above, so Charlotte should not be on the list.
You are missing the two Los Angeles NBA team, Lakers in 1960 and the Clippers in 1984, and you put the Angles move to Anaheim in, but left out the move from LA in 1966. Oakland got the Athletics in 1968 and lost the Golden Seals to Cleveland in 1976, and since you are including the Anaheim/LA move, the Warriors moved to Oakland in 1971. Baltimore also had the Bullets from 1963-1973 (moved in from Chicago and then to Washington). The Hawks franchise moved into St. Louis (from Milwaukee) in 1955 and then to Atlanta in 1968. Kansas City had an NBA franchise from 1972 (from the Cincinnati Royals) to 1985 (to the Sacramento Kings). Milwaukee lost the Hawks in 1955. Atlanta got the Hawks in 1968. You counted the Minnesota North Stars (who played in Bloomington) but did not count the Lakers leaving for LA in 1960. Washington needs to have the Wizards/Bullets added in 1973. San Diego lost an NBA team (the Rockets) in 1971 to Houston. Your New York line is missing both the Giants and Dodgers moving to California in 1958 and the Nets didn’t move to New Jersey until 1977, after they were in the NBA; also the Giants and Jets moved from New York to New Jersey in 1976 and 1984 respectively. The New Jersey teams play in East Rutherford, not Newark; also missing the addition of the two NFL teams in 1976 and 1984.
You are also missing the following cities and moves:

San Francisco: +MLB 1958, +NBA 1962, -NBA 1971

None of what I looked at included the AFL or the ABA, so there may be more. |
