Maybe oblong spheroid for oval. And can't dome work for half-circle?

Rectangular parallelipiped should work for cuboid (or rectangular prism).... you could also add parallelogram as one of the 2D shapes and use parallelipiped (very fun to say) or oblique (rectangular) prism for 3D. Ellipsoid should definitely work too.
