What is baseball not a major sport? Matt Bush - 1st overall in the 2004 draft?
Nov 6th, 2011 at 04:06 GMT
Biggest bust in NBA history: LaRue Martin, Trailblazers, 1972 draft. Ahead of Bob McAdoo, Paul Westphal and Dr. J. Played 4 years with highs of 7 ppg and 5 rpg.

I don't know why you consider Thabeet to be a draft so early in his career. He has only played 2 years give him some time. @bmo1616 - I think he didn't include Baseball cuz there are just so many busts out there with all of the minor leagues and everything, but yes I would include Matt Bush on any list of busts lol.

Where is Greg Oden??
Nov 7th, 2011 at 01:01 GMT
Greg Oden hasn't had a chance to prove himself yet
Nov 7th, 2011 at 06:46 GMT
But Thabeet has? Oden has been in the league longer than Thabeet and you consider him a bust and not Oden. I'm not a Thabeet fan by any means, but that is some very flawed logic right there man.

I'm going to lobby for Greg Oden too. In the NBA you are expected to be an imact almost immediately. He's had 2 years, will lose another this year, and has done nothing. Also, where's "The Incredible Bust" Tony Mandarich?
Nov 7th, 2011 at 21:30 GMT
Oden hans't even had a chance to prove himself on the court, and his injury has not been proven to be a negative impact on his game yet, therefore i disagree. And Thabeet has been given a chance to play, and stunk.

You are contradicting yourself there man. I looked up stats. Oden has played in 82 games so far, started 60 of them, and averaged around 9ppg and 7rbg, not bad but not worth a #1 overall pick for scoring, but rebounds is decent. However, he did that playing an average of 22 ppg. Thabeet on the other hand, has played in 115 games, started only 13 of them and averaged under 3 ppg and rpg, not good for anyone at all. He has done this while only averaging 10 minutes per game. So in theory, Thabeet has basically been an end of the quarter sub and has seen very little action on the court. Thus, if you include Thabeet, you must include Oden as well.
