	Hmmmm millandas: wouldn't the title of that quiz then be the professional sports teams in america (only the big four american sports). If you are unhappy then make your own quiz. Props to the quiz, the mls and wnba made it much harder.

	Geez, jaho, millandas, and Devon2012, lighten up! Your American (and male) chauvinism gives the rest of us Americans a bad name. Soccer reigns supreme in sports in 90% of the world. To imply that it's not a "real sport" just because it's not so popular (as a professional sport) in the U.S. is just petulant. As is wanting to exclude the first professional women's team sport to get a toe-hold in the realm of American spectator sports.

	It makes me incredibly sad that affected ignorance of sports outside of the US big 4 makes people so proud, especially on a website like Sporcle. The average attendance for NBA, NHL, and MLS games are, respectively, 17390, 17265, 16460. Is it the extra 800 fans per game that makes hockey a sport and soccer meaningless?

	flyingdics: While I think that WNBA and MLS should be on here (because they are the highest level of their respective professional sports and because it makes the quiz more difficult), your statistics are misleading. NHL and NBA teams play 82 games per year, while MLS teams play 30. Their total attendence is much higher, and presumably, MLS average attendence would be much lower if their teams played 82 games/year

	Damn, I got everything but the MLS and NHL! Pulled the WNBA Sacramento team out at the last second! But WNBA AND MLS should be included, they are sports, in fact, Soccer is the most popular sport in the world! And women can play sports too.

	MLS attendance stats vs NBA & NHL attendance stats because MLS games are played in stadiums, while NBA & NHL teams play in arenas. For the record I dont mind having MLS and WNBA as part of the quiz.

	I don't like soccer and only got one MLS team (Beckham's). Makes the quiz all the better when you don't know EVERY answer before you open the quiz. And I'm used to misogyny on the web, so WNBA hate doesn't even get me anymore.

	geez, everyone needs to lighten up. look i don't care for MLS or WNBA either (or NHL for that matter) but that doesn't mean they can't be on this quiz. if anything it makes it more of a challenge. and to all you who are fans of those leagues, just because someone else doesn't like it doesn't mean they're ignorant, stupid, inbred, chauvenistic, close minded, insular, or any other insult you can look up in a thesaurus. if you like your sport that's great, you don't have to try and convince everyone else to like it.

	If you really wanted to make things tough, there are 2 AAA-level baseball teams, 10 A-level baseball teams, 3 independent minor-league baseball teams, and 3 ECHL minor-league hockey teams.

	I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape when others say that a league shouldn't be included. CLEARLY "no one" knows anything about MLS or WNBA -- Look at the results!. Would you like it if they included Nascar Drivers who hail from California, or tracks contained within? I mean, I KNOW the answers, I suppose that shoule be quizzable then, eh? 	Total attendance is more misleading than average attendance. If total season attendance were the judge, Major League Baseball is 4 times more popular than any domestic sports league on earth and is more popular than NHL, NBA, NFL and MLS combined. Now if NFL teams had 160-game seasons...
