great quiz, but I think you should allow 'mr. burns' as an answer for 'excellent'.

You should accept "Mrs. Lovejoy" for Helen, too.

Instead of *Soft Chuckles*, maybe "ahee hee hee"?

*Soft Chuckles* could also apply to Sideshow Bob. Oh, and since most of your answers accept the full name of the character, the first name of "Glavin" is John and the first name of "Arrr" is Horatio.

Yeah, milkshake one was pretty weak. Especially seeing how none of the others re-appeared.

The milkshake one is from the very early episodes. Like the very first one.

I knew all of these but the clues don't really help much because you don't know the inflection and how they say it...especially "Glavin".

I think that you should have to spell Nahasapeemapetilon to get Apu.

some of them are a bit misleading, i put spider pig for *Pig Noise*! Thought malibu stacey said something exactly like that milkshake one, and wouldn't accept it when i typed super intendent chalmers or gary chalmers

Milkshakes? What is that? And "Soft chuckles" is far too vague. Otherwise a solid quiz.

@ sous_chef: Malibu Stacey actually said "Now let's forget our troubles with a big bowl of strawberry ice cream." Also, I never thought of Wiggum as making pig noises...it's more like "nyaah" or something. If anything, he sounds more like a duck than a pig.

If you want to make a joke "I'm going to my room" could be a bonus one for Lisa.

i thought id be clever by typing in all the last names of characters. after typing in guy, man and boy i thought it would be easy... until i came to nahasapeemapetilon lol

You shouldn't get Bart and Homer just for typing 'Simpson'. Maybe you should need first names for Helen, Agnes, Dr Nick, Ned etc too, because I didn't know Helen's first name and getting it justfor 'Lovejoy' made me feel like a phoney.

Thanks for the milkshakes reference, @crazylegs! Let's separate the yellow men from the four-fingered boys here...

I think you should get rid of Dr Hibbert and Chief Wiggum. They're just too ambiguous. A noise isn't really a catchphrase and it's too difficult to describe in words. Besides, there are so many other characters you could use (Troy McClure - "You may remember me from...", Skinner - "Coming mother", Bumblebee Man - "Ay, ay, ay, no me gusta!")

Can't believe I missed Clancy. The Milkshake reference is for all of us really old school fans who watched them on the Tracy Ullman show. How would one phrase Marge's groan noise she makes?
