Funny how several of them used to be empires with large colonies. Passport? We don't need no passport!

I'm really curious about which 3 countries Americans can go to that Canadians can't visa-free, and the source is not helpful for that question.

@Kanguri: I just went through the lists on Wikipedia and I came up with 6 countries (Cuba, Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, CAR, Tajikistan, Nauru) that Canadians can freely travel to that Americans can't and 5 countries (Eq. Guinea, UAE, Mongolia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia) that Americans can freely travel to that Canadians can't. This quiz must include dependencies in the numbers because in addition to this discrepancy, I was only getting around 150 countries for each. But anyway I hope this answers your question.

Thanks for the feedback! I've reduced the time by a minute. I've just made a '25 'Worst' Passports to Hold' quiz based on the same source which might also be interesting: http://www.sporcle.com/games/cornishpixies/25-worst-passports-to-hold

@hitchhiker42 you're correct about the ranks, no way UK should be 3rd if there are 4 countries above it... @chriskotx, from what Riko said about it including dependencies I wonder if it's Greenland???

I just followed the rankings on the source, but I changed it now so it is a bit more accurate.

Seems unlikely to be Greenland, surely anyone who can go to Denmark can go there, not just Danes? But that's pure speculation.

@Riko: I went to Burkina Faso in 2009 as an American without a passport and they gave me a 5 year Visa multiple entry and told me that all Americans get an automaitc 5 year visa. I got mine at the border when I entered from Mali.

@christotx and @mouthforhire: I think it's Niger. Danes can go to Niger visa-free, but most other countries cannot.

@Kangrui: I know that the UAE is angry at Canada, since Toronto airport wouldn't give them certain landing rights, so now we have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to get into the country. I think it's around $250.00 or something crazy like that.

Interesting that of the 4 Scandinavian countries 3 of them are among the top 4, yet Norway is only tied for 12th, tho not a big difference in the overall number.

@jeffg3wksapart - Norway is not in the European Union while the other 3 are which probably accounts for the difference. I think the world is showing its gratitude for Lego.

So what country can Danes get into that the rest of us can't? I always though UK was the best passport to have for this sort of thing, thanks to the Empire.
