	I happen to know a few of these are wrong. Angola... all but essential travel to Cabinda is advised against and to North and South Luanda provinces Chad... all travel is advised against apart from essential travel to N'Djamena and so the whole country is advised against. Central African Republic... all travel is advised against Rep. of the Congo... all travel to the Pool region is advised against. (Zimbabwe... not ADVISED against but "should avoid" areas where War Veterans are active) These are ones i know of from planning a gap year and so you may well have missed more.

	I took them straight from the FCO website (see the source link) - I imagine the advice does change fairly regularly though

	I think they've been more cautious about including places recently after complaints about it hitting tourism in places that weren't all that dangerous. Surprised to see no Cote divoire or Haiti as these certainly used to be no-go areas.

	Ivory Coast is down as "Advise against all but essential travel to parts of", Haiti seems to be absolutely fine!

	North Korea is generally a very safe place to go if you go as one of the few hundred official tourists they have each year (obviously sneaking in isn't advised!)

	Think L'Aquila was at the request of the Italian Government, ie they don't want anyone poking around while they rebuild the place

	They'll only list L'Aquila, not Italy as a whole. If Manhattan suffured an earthquake and needed extensive rebuilding it may well make the list. Seems sensible enough to me

	foreign office is much smarter than the us state department in this matter-- the us marks entire countries as problematic, as opposed to only problematic regions within otherwise fine countries. that's why mexico had a travel warning that had nothing to do with cancun, but all of a sudden cancun was a ghost town. good for you, uk! (australia and canada do the same thing too-- congrats)

	no just 4 bonuses - CAR, East Timor, Mauritania and Honduras - these are the countries that the FCO say only go to for essential travel.

	Good quiz. It might be worth doing an updated version, laid out as the link does - ie 'Countries to avoid all travel to' countries to avoid all but essential travel to' etc

	Nice idea, but the FCO updates travel advice constantly for individual countries depending on the changing local situation and its own assessment of the risk to British nationals. Sometimes this means daily, so the quiz will constantly be out of date the moment it is printed.
