Obvious classics are missing -- they've appeared in previous versions. http://www.sporcle.com/games/Schwagirl/nines had the Fellowship of the Ring and Supreme Court members, among others, and http://www.sporcle.com/games/Jordanhaedtler/ninesomes had the court, the Brady's and 7 more very interesting categories. I'm stumped now, so if anyone has a better idea (and corrections, of course), please speak up.

It's a great quiz, with well tought ideas. I'm surprised you thought of this many after the previous ninesomes. Although I'd rearrange it so the reindeers are after the greek domains, so that you don't get 'dance' when typing in 'dancer'.

I had a lot of trouble finding good nine groups. Kudos on finding so many!

I missed Michael! I was counting siblings, but not him... way to go. A problem when I was typing Jackie, I think John F Kennedy came up after "jack"

@max123: thanks. Switched the reindeer - if you do them first, you still get dancer (I don't want to force answers) but you're less likely to. @mizzet: Dar es Salaam is no longer the official capital of Tanzanya. @ DrE: if you look at the results, you are not alone! I missed the Jackie problem; had Jack as an option for JFK, now removed. Thx. @ Schwagirl: Appreciate the comment. I was collecting nines for a while, and had to really scramble when you published before me! You had a couple of my favorite ideas, but came up with other good ones I didn't think of at all.

Nicely done. Some suggestions for acceptable answers for poker hands, 2 pair - 3 of a kind, set, trips - boat, full boat - 4 of a kind, quads.

@betraisefold: thanks! Obviously, you know poker; I, on the other hand, had to google some of your terms.

You should probably accept Malebolge or Malebolgia for the Eighth Circle, as that's the name it is given in the epic.

@fiddler: had it on the ninth for some reason, so it should have come up in the wrong place. But fixed now - thanks for the catch!
