World Series didn't start till 1903. A manager active from 1883-91 couldn't have won it.

Not exactly. They played a "World's Series" from 1884-1890.

this is completely wrong in every way.... if you count 1884-1890 as the world series, then you must also count the temple cup... plus you left out cap anson who won 2 "world series" as you call him... overall you failed... sorry

The Temple cup determined the champion of the National League. Is the ALCS and NLCS the same as the World Series? No.. And cap Anson only won once. Go back to sleep, numb nuts.
