Cool idea for a quiz. I wouldn't mind seeing a full list of left-handed QBs to play in the NFL. I can't seem to find handedness as a metric on pro-football-reference.

Peyton Manning has completed at least one pass left-handed, but is nowhere near the top of this list unless you include his right-handed yards as well. Which would sort of defeat the point.

Someday I'll learn there is only one 'n' in Brunell.

Yes, he took the stat from MNF, but he still had the initiative to make the quiz. Most of these are taken from somewhere. Not a big deal, but I would have liked asterisks for the active QBs.

Brunell played for the Jets this year, so he should count as active.

For those who might be curious Matt Leinart and Chris Simms both have just under 4,000. Those are the other two guys I thought of when taking the quiz. I am also pretty sure that Jared Lorenzen is the heaviest lefty QB ever.

Brunell I believe has not officially retired, and should be listed as active still.

I never remember that Mark Brunell is left-handed. Yet I remembered Frankie Albert. *facepalm*

I was going to say that Brunell must have made some bad investments along the way to still be signing new contracts at 40. Then I checked, and he has.

Nice bonus. Should accept "Hefty Lefty" and "Pillsbury Throwboy" for it as well.

Actually "Hefty Lefty" was accepted under his actual name, Jared Lorenzen...28 yards let's go

Shouldn't Mitchell be listed as #6, #7, and #8? (you see, because he was a pretty big guy...)

As a lefty, I am ashamed that I only got 4. I had no idea Ken Stabler was left-handed.

The only reason Young is the most guessed is because he was the picture for this quiz.

How about Todd Marinovich as a bonus? I know he was a huge bust and didn't even have 2,000 yards passing for his career, but I always think of him when it comes to lefty QB's because I once read that his father tied his right arm behind his back so he would develop into a lefty.

I was just stunned to find out Mark Brunell was still active (at 40 years old, no less).

I got all but one...SCOTT MITCHELL! As a Lions fan, I am ashamed that I forgot that he's a southpaw.

Can't believe I forgot Snake and Boomer. Didn't recall Zorn and Mitchell were lefties, and never heard of Albert. Love the J-Load bonus. Didn't Ned Flanders play QB for a while, before opening the Leftorium?
