| I tried to find a historical list of favorability ratings at the end of each president's tenure in office, but could only find info going back to Nixon (who ranked, not surprisingly, the lowest of any exiting president). Clinton delivered some interesting results: since Truman, he had the highest overall favorability rating at the end of his presidency (66%) and was the only president who was more popular upon leaving office than entering it.
