Any feedback is welcome, especially with regards to anyone who you really think warrants inclusion.

Well, if you wanted to kick it really old school, you could include Helen Chandler, who played Mina in the 1931 version of Dracula. Anyway, an excellent quiz, and I really liked the colour scheme for the answer grid!

I admit I was surprised not to see Heather O'Rourke on here (though since I only just came up with her name, maybe it's just as well for me).

Nah, your choices are great. If your looking to expand the quiz, I'd suggest Aniston in Leprechaun, just for funsies. But I can't see any you already have that should be displaced.

How is Milla Jovovich a "Scream Queen"? She's the most confident killer in the entire series. Being a woman in a horror movie does not make you a damsel in distress and certainly not a "Scream Queen."

@abbott827, I didn't intend it to be taken so literally, I just thought it made for a snappy title. @Grindledorf, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, The Blair Witch Project and The Fog, respectively. @napb, thanks.

Kinda ironic how this has nothing from "Saw", when the Scream Queens show was competing for a part in that. Also, that's not Linda Blair, pretty sure the mutated version of her was played by someone else, Mercedes McCambridge. I guess I can understand her being the answer since few are aware of that, but maybe at least accept both?

@Zak6009, according to Wikipedia McCambridge provided the voice when the child was possessed but Linda Blair was the one acting in the scene. So, assuming that article is correct, the picture is of Linda Blair. Still that's a nice bit of movie trivia.

@zak6009 and @citkeane: I have to agree with citkeane. Linda Blair later went on to try to blame her experiences on set and in makeup (as well as her own acting performance) for her problems with drugs. I believe Mercedes McCambridge did indeed do most of the voice for the possessed girl and was seen on screen as the girl under the hair in the parts that involved the girl in bed with a cross.

I know "The Ring" is far scarier, but Naomi Watts did some really good screaming in "King Kong", too. The image of Heather Langenkamp is so disturbing..."can you hear me now?"

Good quiz, even though I would classify some of these movies as "suspense" rather than "horror." I knew it was Adrienne Barbeau, but I was thinking of her role in "The Crate" segment of Creepshow rather than The Fog

Continuing with the theme noted by needapausebutton, it would have been interesting to place Melanie Griffith next to Tippi Hedren, "Pacific Heights" perhaps? Thoroughly enjoyable quiz. Five globes from me.

Love the quiz, and the time span covered. Funny how the two Heathers are so little recognized when their movies are still so famous. Also, if a scream queen screams in a silent movie (say, Mary Philbin from Phantom of the Opers), does she make a sound?

Just being female and in a horror movie doesn't make someone a scream queen. Kathy Bates and Linda Blair were the villains in those two movies and Sigourney Weaver and Milla Jovovich were never in a damsel-in-distress situation in those two movies.

Villains: Kathy Bates, Linda Blair, Bette Davis, Nicole Kidman and (to a degree) Sissy Spacek Action Heroines: Jodie Foster and Milla J Scream Queens are the unlikely hero of a horror movie that face off against a horror villain. Just because a woman is in a dark movie (Silence of the Lambs, Misery, Resident Evil and What Happened to Baby Jane aren't horror movies) doesn't make her a scream queen.
