	Christopher Columbus - Hispaniola Sir Walter Raleigh - Roanoke Island I was going to suggest Fletcher Christian for Pitcairn Island but Tahiti would also apply to him. If you wanted to, you could include fictional islands. 	@LTH, I'm wary of adding Christopher Columbus, since he first landed in the Bahamas and has some connection with most islands in the Caribbean. Walter Raleigh is a good one, so I've added that. Thanks. @epicirish, Thanks.

	A couple other suggestions: -Alexander Hamilton was born on the island of Nevis. -Anthony Van Diemen sent Abel Tasman on the voyage where he first saw Tasmania. Tasmania was at one point known as Van Diemen's Land due to this. -Joe Rosenthal is best known for his photo of the flag being raised on Iwo Jima. -Toussaint Louverture might work as someone associated with Hispaniola but not with other Caribbean islands.
