	@Chriskotx I don't follow the news as much as I should, but doesn't North Korea hate the idea of relying on or accepting help from other countries? If I'm right on that, then it makes perfect sense that they wouldn't be on the importers list. Also, I think honkytonkman is referring to the huge amounts of gun violence in that area (although to be fair, that does seem to be more in central america like Honduras, El Salvador, etc)

	@Eideticmemory123 One of North Korea's main sources of foreign income is through selling weapons to terrorist groups/rogue regimes. Sure, they hate the idea of relying on other regimes, but since their regime wouldn't last very long without foreign trade/aid they don't really have much choice in the matter. Very surprised to see Myanmar absent from the list, though.

	The US military could push Italy off this list if we stopped using the Beretta 92F as the primary officer service weapon. I'd much rather use a Kimber Custom II than the 92F.

	The evidence suggests you should never buy a Norwegian or Chinese gun - they're on both the highest importers and exporters, so there must be something wrong with them else why wouldn't just use their own guns?

	@TheFlyingBarney: Countries usually export and import different technologies. For example, China imports helicopters and air defense systems from Russia and exports rocket-propelled grenades and mortar launchers to countries including Zimbabwe.
