	@Zak6009 Bosnia and Herzegovina is almost landlocked, to be fair – bar its 12 miles of coastline around the town of Neum, which allow it access to the sea and separate Dubrovnik from the rest of Croatia.

	Akrotiri and Dhekelia are British-administered areas on the island of Cyprus. They're basically just military bases.

	Thanks for the publish! I will admit that some people had problems with one or two aspects of this quiz before it got published, but nobody objected to the Adriatic being considered a part of the Mediterranean. There are around seven different seas that make up the Mediterranean as a whole, but they are all considered to be one body of water, at least from a technical perspective. The Strait of Otranto, which marks the boundary between the Ionian and Adriatic (or the Adriatic and the rest of the Med, if that's how you want to see it) is over 70kms wide.

	@WeaselKing1000, that was the main point of contention when this was still unverified. I tried to appease people with the footnotes about overseas territories being included. Obviously it's debatable. As comment one more or less points out, the inclusion of Greenland as part of Denmark in a lot of Sporcle quizzes is questionable as it is also an autonomous region. Any decision is ultimately going to be based on fairly arbitrary conditions. Personally I included it because it seemed more complete that way, but I'm expecting a fairly mediocre rating because people don't seem to like unexpected answers.

	Excellent and fun quiz. However, I was very surprised to see the likes of Greece and Croatia ranked so highly (especially Croatia). Whilst I am aware that Greece has a complex and oddly-shaped coastline, I still did not expect to see it rank above large countries like Italy or Spain. Also, I NEARLY forgot all about the African continent, until I was about half-way through the quiz. For some unknown reason whenever I hear the Mediterranean mentioned, I always think of southern Europe, and nowhere but southern Europe.

	This is a geography quiz about the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. Od course Gibraltar, Akrotiri and Dhekelia all have coastlines on the Mediterranean Sea and so should be included. The only issue I have is that the individual territories need to be separately identified or the description should be changed to indicate that answers are "...sovereign countries that control territory...". There are 200 character spaces for this type of explanation. A great quiz though - 5 globes.

	@zeppelinoid, well now it's up to the Sporcle admins whether they want to change the description as it's out of my hands. As for listing territories separately that sounds like it would make for a pretty difficult quiz, as you'd also have to list the Spanish territories in Morocco of Melilla and Cueta, and perhaps some other autonomous regions depending on how you framed the question. I'm willing to own up to the fact that I'd never heard of Akrotiri and Dhekelia before I decided to make this quiz

	@citkeane: I fully understand the frustration of not being able to edit a quiz once published. The Spanish exclaves on the Moroccan coast are actually fully fledged parts of Spain so they should count in the Spanish total. I do not think that there are any other dubious coastal territories other than the Gaza Strip, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (which you qualified) and the UN Buffer Zone in Cyprus.

	@zeppelinoid, there always going to be a bit of debate with regards to territories and the like in country-based Sporcle quizzes, and I definitely see both sides, and perhaps some areas where a little extra info in the question or notes would help. Really I'm just happy to get a second quiz published. Also, I just noticed a comment you left on my peninsula quiz that I should probably pay attention to and put into action.

	@citkeane Nothing wrong with including dependent territories of course, it just requires a bit more thought to come up with them in cases like this. But equally, there's nothing to say that the whole of the Mediterranean coastline had to be covered – another option would just be to leave the bits bordered by dependencies out completely. Or zeppelinoid's suggestion about the description. But really, this quiz was fine, don't think I didn't enjoy it! :)

	@weaselking1000, no I fully understood your point. Nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism. My response was just my thoughts when I was putting the quiz together. It wasn't me who rated your comment down, in case that's why you thought I had an issue with it.

	I would've gotten so many more if I had just had to name the countries instead of putting them in the right order! lol I didn't have time to type them all in to all the spaces even though i knew a lot of the ones that were borders...oh well! :)

	@hyrax73, here is a basic picture of Croatia and its coast, from wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Croatia_topo.jpg. It's not just the mainland it includes islands, which is also why Greece is first.
