Deal or No Deal is a Dutch show, not a British one.

Strictly Come Dancing sounds like the first all-bondage musical.

I guess the photo isn't from Kitchen Nightmares but maybe accept that too since it's also an American remake of a British show with Gordon Ramsay.

Wikipedia says Deal or No Deal was broadcast in the USA before the UK, in addition to being originally Dutch, so wrong on every count there.

can we consider "elementary" a remake of "sherlock"? :)

Thanks to brs and pottedstu for the correction, I've changed it to something equally as terrible as what was before.. @courtneyyy, considering that show hasn't aired yet I don't think it would be a good replacement. Also, a prerequisite I set myself for inclusion on this quiz was that the remake actually ran for more than one season. @alsanali, I added a bonus.

Way too many recent shows, and way too many reality shows. What about "Till Death Do Us Part" ("All in the Family"), "Dear John" ("Dear John"), "Man About the House" ("Three's Company")?

Top Gear and Dragon's Den (Shark Tank) are options if you want more.

The first aired incarnation of the Got Talent series was America's Got Talent, and while the idea was originally going to be on first in the UK, Britain's Got Talent wasn't actually screened here until over a year after in America. So although it's a British idea, it's not actually a remake. Sorry to nitpick!
