Absolutely no way should USC be on this list ahead of Oklahoma and Michigan, in my opinion.

i realize this quiz comes from a source, albeit a completely subjective one. this is basically a list of the 10 largest fan bases. largest doesn't equal best. in my personal experience, Nebraska or Texas A&M fans are better than Texas fans. Wisconsin fans are at least on par with Ohio St. Ole Miss is up there with the best of the SEC. and Boise St. travels better and more enthusiastically than any fan base i have seen. but it's all totally subjective, so it's fruitless to argue.

I'm from Oregon, and the Ducks, god love 'em, just don't have that huge a fan base. I mean, popular in Oregon, sure. But there just ain't that many people out there.

USC: Let's see, should I drive 30 miles to go to the Rose Bowl? // Wisconsin: Let's see, should I fly halfway across the country to go to the Rose Bowl?

thats not a very well put together list, especially when Florida and Bama are at the top. Texas A&M has a great fan base (i.e. the 12th Man) and even though i hate them Nebraska has a huge fan base as well and they're both better than Texas. theres no way that Oregon and USC should be ahead of them and Michigan. and Florida and Bama shouldn't be the top 2

I hate Nebraska. But there is no way they should be off this list. They have sold out their home games for years, and bring so many fans to their away games (at least in the Big 12) that they sometimes rival the number of home fans. My level of respect for the Bleacher Report has fallen to new lows.

The comment on USC's page said LA is a big bandwagon town and that when USC stops winning, the fans go away. That doesn't sound like much of a fan base to me. Quizzes based on subjective lists suck.

Nebraska has sold out every single home game since the JFK adminstration. 309 straight sell-outs. AND they travel better than any school in the country. If you don't sell out YOUR stadium, then they will come fill it for you. This is an epic FAIL.

I find it hard to believe that the college football program with the most all time wins, Michigan, isn't on this list.

Besides the fact of the obvious omissions (Nebraska..) the inclusion of USC makes this quiz a complete and utter disaster of a joke.

I seriously question Florida #1. Auburn should be on there. Iowa and Wisconsin are great fan bases. Michigan fans aren't that great, IMO. Great program but they don't have the spirit of the other Big Ten fan bases. Texas A&M are very good. I feel sorry for them.

Well speaking as a huge Michigan fan/student, I definitely do my part. I can say that there are some alumni/students who don't get rowdy enough IMO but I still think we have a very good fan base. Then again this list is totally subjective so it's basically "Name 10 pretty big college football schools". Also I don't get that Notre Dame's on here and NOT Michigan - a lot of ND's fans are classless and delusional. But ya know, at least their pre-season ranking's always good!

You don't get points for having a 100,000 seat stadium and fill every weekend with perfect 70 degree weather. The great fan-bases fill the stadium in 20 degrees and snowing. That's why penn st should be far and away number 1, and I'm a die-hard Wisconsin fan

Hmmm. Michigan has had 100,000+ fans at home games for 228 straight games (and counting), and Michigan doesn't make this list?

I would think that a criteria for best fan-base would be fan support when the team is not doing well. The list includes (for the most part) teams that have performed well over the last few years. If USC goes on a slump I doubt that the fans would be as patient and loyal as say a Michigan, Nebraska or Oklahoma fan.

AHAHA! I just wanted to say thank you. I was in need to a good laugh today. Not only should Nebraska be on this list it should be in the top 3. I will say even as a Nebraska fan we have some not so good fans too, but Texas A&M, Nebraska, and Michigan should be and easy top 3. As for Texas and USC? Well that made me laugh too. :)

Bleacher Report is literally the worst source you can have for anything sports related. Should have been a dead giveaway when the #1 fanbase is one that wants a coach who won 2 national championships in three years gone after one down year.

Excuse me, but Notre dame fans are nowhere near as classless and delusional as Ohio State and West Virginia fans. We aren't classless at all!!! Have you ever been there??

As someone who has been to numerous road games, I find it tragic that Nebraska and Ole Miss aren't on this list. "The Grove" at Oxford should be on every college football fan's to-do list.
