Tonga is missing, and several should not be on here, especially Australia, which is a continent. Also, the following have land borders, ergo they are not island nations: UK, Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Brunei, Timor-Leste (and it's Timor-Leste, NOT East Timor), Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Sporcle published this quiz already, it's called "Island Nations".

Despite what others may say, Australia is a country. It's a continent also. Sporcle also recognizes it as a country so leave it as it is.

we all know australia is a country, antirose, but its not an island-its a continent. and like joebobs said, countries with land borders arent really island countries, plus sporcle already published an island nation quiz

Maybe you should keep some of the above happy by changing the title to "Countries without any territory on any continental landmass". Once you correct Tonga, Australia and St Lucia, put a more self-explanatory title and also tidy up the subtitle ("countrys" etc), you'll have a quiz that people can understand and which is actually different from the published one mentioned above.

Apparently we all don't know Australia is a country actually, newenglander. Two of the people above my comment were arguing it wasn't. That's why I stated it. But you are right, I guess it shouldn't be on this quiz.

They weren't saying Australia isn't a country, they were saying that it is also a continent.

If you are going to include countries like UK which touches other land, then you should also include Malaysia. Also, like everybody has said, Australia is a country, but it is also a continent, so it should not be on this quiz. FYI A quiz like this has already been published, too. Check the spellings of some of them.

Aren't some of the ones listed under North America, actually in South America?
