OMG! How are Peyton Manning and Drew Brees paid less than JASON BROWN and KELVIN HAYDEN! This has got to be false! And where is Tom Brady?

While Harrison James sounds like a bada$$ football player, his name is actually James Harrison. And come to think of it, he's not exactly a scrub out there.

16.5 for Chris Long for not doing all that much... Let's see how throwing more money at Sam Bradford works out for the Rams. NFL needs to fix their rookie payroll scale.

To explain these contract to some of you would be nearly impossible for you to understand but they are all base salaries and are all under different circumstances. Many of these salaries are inflated due to the fact that certain guys were Franchise Tagged in 2009. Others are the latter parts of there deals which are typically higher near the end. As for the guys like Peyton Manning, he took a pay cut in order for his team to get more players because there is going to normally be a salary cap. Kelvin Hayden is obviously a mind boggle but he was coming off a very good season in 2008 and the Colts did not want to lose him so they over paid him. They would have used a Franchise Tag on him anyway, which would have put him on this list regardless.
