| This list of "muscle cars" is interesting at best. Belair? Fairlane? Galaxie? JAVELIN? First off, the manufacturer of the "Javelin" was AMC, not AMX. AMX was the name of their real "muscle" car. Look it up. You could also consider a Matador a muscle car; it certainly is, more than a Belair or a Fairlane. The only muscle Fairlane (besides the Torino, which was listed) was the '64 Thunderbolt; Fairlanes were meant to be family cars. The omission of the Plymouth Road Runner (in particular, the Superbird model) is atrocious. Buick's muscle car wasn't the Skylark (that was the car your grandpa would drive around); it was the Grand National. |
