This puzzle showed up in a newspaper in Lima. It contained this note from the Puzzlemaster: 'This grid-like contrivance, detective, is what the Incas used to CALL a 'yupana'. With it, they were able to carry out extremely complex calculations. Your task is to fill in each CELL so that each of the rows and columns equal the totals given. I'll even give you each NUMBER-- you just have to find the correct place for them according to my instructions. Hope you're good with math. -Puzzlemaster'
