The scary thing is that in the 2 years since this chart was compiled, Glee Cast have moved within range of the #1 spot, and may take over the top this week.

That's partly a measure of how the singles charts have changed in the last couple of years. If a show like Glee had been on twenty years ago, you'd have maybe six singles released a year. Now *every* song they do counts as a single because of digital sales, and there's like five songs each episode.
