| I know that these words are not your own design, but rather those of Needham, but I have a few things that you should consider looking up again in your copy of Harrius Potter et Philosophi Lapis. 1) Atrius magnus is surely supposed to be Atrium Magnum, as I have never seen that word masculine, only neuter. 2) I find it fascinating that Needham uses “baro” for baron. “Baro” tends to mean blockhead, simpleton, idiot. 3) Dominam is accusative. Domina would be the correct form. 4) Transfiguratione and crepidine are both ablative, and should be transfiguratio and crepido, respectively. Again, I fully believe that Needham knows what he is doing, but you may have seen the words with strange endings. Please double-check and alter accordingly. |
