I'm not sure I agree with fonio being listed separate from millet.

A form of triticale is featured in the Star Trek episode The Trouble with Tribbles. Where is buckwheat?

What is the source for these figures? I don't doubt them, I'm just curious, and I am wondering where such "ancient grains" as spelt and quinoa might fit into the list.

spelt=type of wheat quinoa and buckwheat= not real cereals Oddly these came to my head in almost exactly the order they're listed

Quinoa is #12 on the list at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cereal but the list here at sporcle seems to (quite rightly) exclude pseudocereals such as buckwheat and quinoa

Shouldn't typing oat work too or does it really need to be pluralized?

Ahh, the advantage of having celiac disease -- I just had to list everything I can't eat! Though that doesn't explain how I managed to miss the gluten-free fonio...whoops. One question/criticism: If "millets" is already on the list, and fonio *is* a millet, shouldn't it be grouped with that?
