In 2007 Davis changed his last name to Williams because that was his rightful name. Somehow he ended up with the same last name as his older brother, but after starting his own family, and after retirement, he changed it to Williams which it should have been all along.

Sorta shocked that Bo Jackson and Gale Sayers didn't make it considering their dominant YPA. Sayers certainly would have if not for his final two seasons, and had Bo not been sharing the carries, he mighta topped Brown. Still amazing that Bo played only 38 games... in the majority of his games, he didn't even get 15 touches

Is this games started or just games play? Because if it's just games played, games would count in which the runningback only had one or two carries which might throw perception off a bit.

Games played. One of the biggest reasons these guys made the list is by starting seemingly every game in their career. You won't get far by averaging 6 or 8 yard games into your total.

of course, there is a minimum number of games required, isn't there? Or else, a bunch of strike season players from 1987 would be on the list. A few of those strike players from '87 gained 150 or more yards in two games, but never played again.

I'm not sure what those numbers would be, but yes.
