Wow, could of sworn that Jimmy Clausen was drafted in the 3rd round.

No, he was the one that fell into the 2nd from that huge group... There were some talent rich QB's.... McCoy, Bradford, Tebow, he sort of fell out of the spotlight, and honestly, he is the least successful of the 4

Sans Brees and Kaepernick/Dalton (too early to tell), this list is extremely depressing. You could argue it's too early for Clausen, but Cam's performance in the exact same offense this year has sealed his fate.

I wouldn't write off Kevin Kolb yet either.

I'm just saying so far, Clausen is the least successful of that draft class (Bradford Tebow and McCoy). Not on the quiz.

No love for Marques Tuiasosopo? I only remember him because his name is so obscure.

This is only like the 4th quiz he has been on... lol. He is almost like Testaverde in Sporcle terms for me.

Got Tuiasosopo on the first try, didn't even have to look up the spelling. Pro.

Not impressive, Sporcle has taught me how to spell practically every NFL last name and Country.

@Marcinkiak. Oh I'm a huge backer of Tuiasosopo, just thought he was too obscure to be a second-round pick.

The Dolphins should really look into going to other rounds for QB help. Maybe they'll win the Luck sweepstakes this year and won't have to wait until the 2nd round to get their guy.

No second-round QBs from 2002-2005? Interesting.

Futilely tried spelling Kaepernick, Clausen and Tuiasosopo. Those last names are killer!

I think Henne and maybe Tarvaris Jackson also still have some starter potential; neither will ever be big stars. I don't think teams expect to find stars in second round quarterbacks.

@Cecispanda. T-Jack having a future? Someone didn't watch enough of the Vikings a few years ago.

@Marciniak. Apparently that someone was Pete Carroll. Although it looks like now Jackson is "in competition" with Flynn.

This list presents a strong case that a lot of people care way too much about the NFL draft.

The authors of 'Scorecasting' had an interesting take on the NFL draft and how the lower draft picks are overrated and that teams with high 1st round picks should keep those picks rather than trade them for a bunch of lower picks- even bottom 1st round picks and 2nd round picks. At least when it comes to getting a top notch player. Makes sense given the Terrell Davis' and Tom Bradys stand out precisely because so few players drafted that low (or undrafted) become NFL stars.

After this whole Manti Te'o thing, more people probably know Ronaiah Tuiasosopo than Marques.

Having Pat White on here is a little dicey. He was listed as a QB when drafted but was drafted for purpose of being used as a WR. So I can see it either way. Good quiz.

Notice how three of these are good or have a bright future and the rest have potential to be a third string, moderate competition for second, but not great contenders

Note to teams: draft your franchise QB in the first round. In 12 years we have 1 superstar, 2 more starters, 1 tweener, 2 decent backups, and a big pile of ****.
