Wow, could of sworn that Jimmy Clausen was drafted in the 3rd round.
Oct 24th, 2011 at 23:32 GMT
No, he was the one that fell into the 2nd from that huge group... There were some talent rich QB's.... McCoy, Bradford, Tebow, he sort of fell out of the spotlight, and honestly, he is the least successful of the 4
Oct 25th, 2011 at 02:42 GMT
Sans Brees and Kaepernick/Dalton (too early to tell), this list is extremely depressing. You could argue it's too early for Clausen, but Cam's performance in the exact same offense this year has sealed his fate.
Oct 25th, 2011 at 19:22 GMT
I wouldn't write off Kevin Kolb yet either.
Oct 25th, 2011 at 20:22 GMT
I'm just saying so far, Clausen is the least successful of that draft class (Bradford Tebow and McCoy). Not on the quiz.
Oct 25th, 2011 at 21:07 GMT
@gmen20091. I would
Oct 25th, 2011 at 21:45 GMT
No love for Marques Tuiasosopo? I only remember him because his name is so obscure.
Oct 25th, 2011 at 22:08 GMT
This is only like the 4th quiz he has been on... lol. He is almost like Testaverde in Sporcle terms for me.
Oct 26th, 2011 at 02:56 GMT
Wow, look how well all these guys turned out for Miami
Oct 26th, 2011 at 16:58 GMT
Got Tuiasosopo on the first try, didn't even have to look up the spelling. Pro.
Oct 26th, 2011 at 20:13 GMT
Not impressive, Sporcle has taught me how to spell practically every NFL last name and Country.
Oct 26th, 2011 at 23:10 GMT
@Marcinkiak. Oh I'm a huge backer of Tuiasosopo, just thought he was too obscure to be a second-round pick.
Oct 27th, 2011 at 04:10 GMT
The Dolphins should really look into going to other rounds for QB help. Maybe they'll win the Luck sweepstakes this year and won't have to wait until the 2nd round to get their guy.
Oct 27th, 2011 at 18:57 GMT
No second-round QBs from 2002-2005? Interesting.
Oct 31st, 2011 at 00:16 GMT
completely forgot that brees was a 2nd rounder :/

John Beck. I loathe you.

Futilely tried spelling Kaepernick, Clausen and Tuiasosopo. Those last names are killer!
Apr 26th, 2012 at 17:00 GMT
I think Henne and maybe Tarvaris Jackson also still have some starter potential; neither will ever be big stars. I don't think teams expect to find stars in second round quarterbacks.
Apr 26th, 2012 at 18:23 GMT
@Cecispanda. T-Jack having a future? Someone didn't watch enough of the Vikings a few years ago.
Apr 27th, 2012 at 15:51 GMT
Are you sure T-Jack is a 2nd round pick?
Apr 27th, 2012 at 16:16 GMT
@Marciniak. Apparently that someone was Pete Carroll. Although it looks like now Jackson is "in competition" with Flynn.
Apr 27th, 2012 at 21:37 GMT
And people wonder why the Dolphins haven't been taken seriously since Marino retired.
Apr 28th, 2012 at 10:39 GMT
Oh they dont wonder they know
Apr 29th, 2012 at 03:29 GMT
This list presents a strong case that a lot of people care way too much about the NFL draft.
Apr 29th, 2012 at 04:39 GMT
The authors of 'Scorecasting' had an interesting take on the NFL draft and how the lower draft picks are overrated and that teams with high 1st round picks should keep those picks rather than trade them for a bunch of lower picks- even bottom 1st round picks and 2nd round picks. At least when it comes to getting a top notch player. Makes sense given the Terrell Davis' and Tom Bradys stand out precisely because so few players drafted that low (or undrafted) become NFL stars.
Apr 30th, 2012 at 22:44 GMT
Wow, top 0.2%. Anyone offering a job in useless sports knowledge? No?
May 2nd, 2012 at 16:44 GMT
YAY! i got tuiasosopo first try:)...the only reason i know of him is because of this football card i had of him when i was little :)
May 3rd, 2012 at 03:10 GMT
Only Brees and Dalton are worth anything
Jan 25th, 2013 at 07:00 GMT
After this whole Manti Te'o thing, more people probably know Ronaiah Tuiasosopo than Marques.
Jan 25th, 2013 at 18:54 GMT
Having Pat White on here is a little dicey. He was listed as a QB when drafted but was drafted for purpose of being used as a WR. So I can see it either way. Good quiz.
Apr 8th, 2013 at 03:52 GMT
The Dolphins being on here 3 times just pathetic, and in consecutive years no less.
Apr 11th, 2013 at 15:33 GMT
Notice how three of these are good or have a bright future and the rest have potential to be a third string, moderate competition for second, but not great contenders
May 2nd, 2013 at 18:41 GMT
Note to teams: draft your franchise QB in the first round. In 12 years we have 1 superstar, 2 more starters, 1 tweener, 2 decent backups, and a big pile of ****.
May 22nd, 2013 at 21:11 GMT
you spelled peyton wrong
May 23rd, 2013 at 00:05 GMT
Pat White hahaha
