	There's some rather interesting answers on this quiz. Second largest city in China, for instance, is Zhumadian. Really? Bigger than Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin, etc. And largest cities in Mexico: Itzapalapa (spelling) and Ecatepec. Again, really? Iztapalapa is a borough of Mexico City, isn't it? I tried going to your source but was unable to find the dataset you used. Could you provide a link to say the cities of China or tell me how I may get the same from the source site. When one doesn't link directly to the data, but rather to a general site address it isn't always easy to figure out exactly what date went into the quiz. Sorry but it wasn't obvious to me.

	Yeah this is a horrible source. No one in their right mind would say Zhumadian is the 2nd largest city in China, along with several other discrepancies.

	@catcherj: Thanks very much for the links. I totally missed seeing the largest cities link on the China page (probably because I didn't scroll down far enough). If it were my quiz I would change the link to point directly the data for China. I think someone would then have an easier time finding the data, not just for China, but for the other countries as well (using the Chinese data as a model for how to access the others). But I guess I'm more bottom-up than top-down in the way I think. To be honest I've never even heard of Zhumadian before, but it does seem to have a population of 8,263,100. It's kind of shocking to realize I've never heard of a city with a population of over 8 million. Apparently there are 34 cities in China with a population of over one million. I'm still a little skeptical however. Maybe Zhumadian is being reported as a polycentric metropolitan area, perhaps like the Ruhr area in Germany. I'm still amazed that according to your source it's larger than Beijing.

	Zhumadian is a prefecture-level city. That is a Chinese government term referring to something completely different than the western definition of a "city" proper. Yes, it has over 8 million people, but it also has an area larger than the state of Connecticut. No level-headed human, even a Chinese one, would contend that any municipality on Earth is as large as the Nutmeg State. I like the concept behind this quiz, but the data are poorly researched/chosen. For me, the geonames.org link doesn't work no matter what I try, so I can't even determine if I can find it trustworthy. However, from what I see in this quiz, I cannot.

	@minneapolitan: I might be able to help with geonames.org Click on countries under "Browse the names." Click on the link for your country. Scroll down on the new page until you see a "Largest Cities" link in the bottom left corner. Clicking on that link brings up a list of the 10 largest cities in China. I also think you are correct about prefecture-level cities, which are essentially the Chinese equivalent of western-style counties: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prefecture-level_city Since I believe that's what is happening in the case of Zhumadian I think the data from geonames.org really doesn't support the intent of this quiz. I do like the idea behind this quiz very much, but the data source is too squirrelly (I think that's the technical term for it ;-) Might I suggest a different source? http://www.citypopulation.de/China-UA.html#Stadt_alpha This is the data for the largest cities in China, but I'm sure one can figure out how to get to the largest cities for other countries from this location.

	You might wanna re-make this quiz. The old source obviously didn't do much good to your rating. For what it's worth, I enjoyed it.
