	Obviously the Carnegie medal makes the book's popularity soar. I have heard of exactly one of these books.

jtrichey: Jeez, what a Philistine. I mean, I've heard of... er... um... Oh. Well, *mumble* six of them. Yeah, OK, these are pretty obscure. Pity that nearly everyone's score gets lumped into 1-9 on the results page, too. Except me. I scored a big, fat zero as I guessed the wrong books for the few authors I recognized.

	From Wikipedia: "The Carnegie Medal in Literature was established in the UK in 1936 in honour of Scottish philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. It is awarded to an outstanding book for children and young adult readers. Nominated books must be written in English and should first have been published in the UK during the year before" No wonder I got a zero.

	Whilst this quiz was pretty hard, I actually quite like it. Especially with these lieterature ones, I always want to read up on the books and see what they are like. I thoroughly recommend Stone Cold - as a child I remember it being one of the best things I ever read.

	On a seperate note regarding how Sporcle is showing on the results page different correct answers to those that we got, there were three that I kicked myself for not having gotten, and it is those three that are highlighted on the results page. Both spooky, and a refelction on how badly I did on this quiz that only three showed up.

	"A Northern Light" should be acceptable for the 2003 Jennifer Donnelly book, as that is the title it was published under in the United States.

	I'm kicking myself for doing badly on this quiz. Since I've read far more children's books than adult books (Hey, I haven't been an adult for as long as I was a child, and I had more time to kill back then - no Sporcle) I should have got much more than my pitiful four. I know that I've read books by probably half these authors. Looking at the titles is bringing back great memories!
