Japan was also a supplier of goods and equipment that aided the U.S.

I feel like I cheated. I just happened to look at the Korean War wikipedia page yesterday and I paid close attention to this. I still forgot Greece though.
Jul 6th, 2011 at 16:47 GMT
: I cheated even more. I looked at the Wikipedia page yesterday AND made the quiz. I still forgot Colombia though.

Thank you, M*A*S*H!
Jul 7th, 2011 at 04:08 GMT
I only remembered Greece for the episode of M*A*S*H referencing how the Greeks cleaned wounds with tea.
Jul 7th, 2011 at 14:21 GMT
@bball37: it was the Brits giving tea to wounded soldiers causing peritonitis. The Greeks provided Easter food after one of their wounded was saved (Radar got the live lamb a discharge).

Jul 7th, 2011 at 19:44 GMT
I forgot ethiopia and the netherlands but got 17 bonus answers :|
Jul 7th, 2011 at 20:46 GMT
Very interesting quiz, for small countries, Belgium and the Netherlands sure do get involved in a lot of wars.
Jul 7th, 2011 at 21:48 GMT
Nice quiz! I'm Korean, and I didn't know Thailand, Philippines, or Ethiopia. But I got 17 bonus answers O.o

I have found my hidden talent. It's knowing all the countries which supply medical aid without knowing the actual combatants.
Jul 8th, 2011 at 21:27 GMT
i got 20 bonus answers, including bulgaria. didn't even realize they had anything to do with n.k...

I was totally joking when I guessed Luxembourg! Haha, got it with 7 seconds right after I had guessed Switzerland and the Vatican City, LOL
Jul 9th, 2011 at 16:31 GMT
What was Bulgaria's role, it doesn't say. I assume medical or supplies.
Jul 11th, 2011 at 04:27 GMT
wow that many! very interesting
Jul 11th, 2011 at 15:06 GMT
Awesome all those bonus answers!
Jul 12th, 2011 at 03:15 GMT
Wow, I had no idea about all those countries that were bonuses!
Jul 13th, 2011 at 16:56 GMT
I remembered what I think was a different M*A*S*H episode from the one previously mentioned: There was a Greek and a Turk both being treated at the same time. Needless to say, it wasn't love at first sight!
Jul 15th, 2011 at 23:07 GMT
@JamesSnell: Usually, it's 'cause we get invaded. :) Also, doesn't seem like a fair fight does it?
Jul 29th, 2011 at 20:10 GMT
Most of the South American countries are bonuses for supplies and medical

Judging by the list of combatant nations on America's side, I'd say that the Marshall Plan was a very wise investment indeed.
Oct 14th, 2011 at 05:20 GMT
Interesting the NATO countries that were and were not involved, Benelux vs Scandinavia, for example.

Surprising how few people get Colombia and Ethiopia...
Mar 26th, 2012 at 01:51 GMT

Surprised to see Cuba on the South's side, then I realized that the fighting was over well before the Revolution.

Must be a new record for number of bonus answers I managed to get here. Probably named nearly all countries that existed then, forgot that Ethiopia was independent though.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 15:22 GMT
I got Ethiopia but missed North Korea. Time to take a nap.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 15:33 GMT
I got Luxembourg, Ethiopia and Australia from watching MASH. Still missed Greece and Turkey, however.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 15:40 GMT
Need to fix the color for bonuses. White text on white background = invisible, unless highlighted... and highlighting takes time away.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 15:50 GMT
@Cocky Greece and Turkey was involved in on of the funniest MASH episodes.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 16:01 GMT
Sad to think this bloody, unnecessary (and still unresolved) conflict came so close after the Second World War and involved so many countries who'd suffered in that period.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 16:08 GMT
I got more bonuses than answers. Partly because I listed off all of South America.
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 16:45 GMT
Bonus answers should be showing up now. Had to set the answer color to black and then enter the html code for white on each of the main answers.

Dec 2nd, 2012 at 17:49 GMT
That's a very sinister looking shade of red... Also, perhaps someone could create a new quiz specifically about what countries provided medical or equipment supplies during the war?
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 18:20 GMT
Will you please stop mentioning the war?
Dec 2nd, 2012 at 18:24 GMT
I remembered Luxembourg from M*A*S*H, but I missed Greece. How could I forget the spam lamb?
