Im not an expert on the subject, but Im assuming Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan is having the y counted as a vowel.

Y is not a vowel. Which is why it is so special. I love y. And I love Kyrgyzstan, so it should be in this quiz...

USA should be a bonus...

Worth sticking the y countries (as I also love Krygyzstan) as bonuses? I generally consider y to not be a vowel but I know that The Sporcle Doctrine dictates that it can act in different circumstances and cause hundreds of negative comments in a row due to the overwhelming and inexplicable rage.... Bonus answers is a good compromise?

I very nearly commented to ask why Iran and Iraq weren't on the list. Talk about a stupid moment!

@ rlnintendo, give me one good reason why USA should be a bonus.

Myanmar should be on here because the y in Myanmar does not function as a vowel. It makes the "ye-" sound as in "yellow". The "y" does function as a vowel in Kyrgyzstan.

@Booger: Huh? Myanmar is pronounced pretty much as it is spelled: My·an·mar. The "y" has a an "i" sound, just like in the word "sky".

Myanmar should be included. Kyrgyzstan should not because I didn't think of that one while I was taking the quiz ;)
