Great quiz, original idea. But I think I would have liked it even better to guess the state/element pairs without a clue.

Oddly enough, California does not share an abbreviation with californium.

It was my lack of knowledge of state postal abbreviations that hurt me in this game, more than my knowledge of the periodic table..

This is fun, but I share Onno's sentiment to let us pick off all the common abbreviations without clues. Looking at this list, it would be deliciously difficult!

Nice idea, you should make us type the elements for specific states though rather than letting them just come up for any of them
