| Being a lifetime Pirates fan, I really enjoyed this quiz. As a heads up, you may want to recheck your left fielder before you get pelted by some of the hard core sporlcers. According to my memory another player held down left field for the majority of the Pirates 1979 campaign. A reliable documented reference concurs the Pirates had one guy (not mentioned in your quiz) play left field in 119 games during the 1979 regular season, while your answer played left field only twice that regular season. I am also pretty sure this same player played more in left field during the '79 postseason. I still like this fun quiz. I am adding it as my first favorite. Thanks much! |
