	If you look at a map Delaware does not border Virginia. It's all Maryland to the south of it.

	an interesting quiz could be, name the state by the number of pro teams it borders by state...if that makes sense...so like oregon would have the 3 washington teams plus all the california teams etc..

	Only missed the random South Dakota listed in the middle of the Nebraskas, since I was assuming all the same state would be kept together.

	^ Correct. The Chiefs, as well as the Royals play in Kansas City, Missouri, on the other side of the river.

	Kentucky had a MLB team in the 1800s, the Louisville Grays, then the Colonels, as did Richmond, VA have the Richmond Virginians for one season and 46 games in 1884, and CT once had the NHL Hartford Whalers. There was never a major league level team in Nevada.

	As a clarification, the Grays and Colonels were MLB teams, but "Colonels" was also the name of the city's ABA team in the '60s and '70s. They also had a team in the early days of the NFL.

	Both KY and VA had ABA teams back in the day, the Colonels and the Squires. Julius Erving started his pro career with the Squires.

	Picking up on the defunct or moved franchises adding states theme: There was a Providence, RI team in 19th century MLB (Providence Grays starring Ol' Hoss Radbourne), also a 1920s NFL team in Providence. There was also a Louisville, KY team in the early days of the NFL and a Hartford, CT team as well. And let's not forget the Waterloo (IA) Hawks of the early NBA. And finally, the Carolina Panthers played their first year at Clemson's (in South Carolina) stadium
