	There is no way that Aeneid is a correct answer. While it does accept The Iliad, that should be the only one.

	The "Reading Books" one could definitely only refer to one particular book. Sure there are others that involve a similar conceit (although not perhaps in the same way) but that specifically references the opening passage, which is still one of the finest and funniest - and not outdated! - pieces of writing ever. Nice idea, well executed. Once again though, I feel frustration that what could be a tightly focussed idea ends up simply feeling like a random set of answers with no real rhyme or reason behind their choices.

	@jujuju: 1984 contained a fair amount of the Goldstein "manifest" that is presented, in large portions, to the audience as a book within a book. In other words, you're not wrong about 184 being so, just not right about the answers to the quiz.

	"Ganymede" is problematic because it could refer to the original myth - perhaps with Ganymede changing his picture once he gets stuck on top of Olympus as Zeus' cupbearer. I wasted far too much time going through all the mythological works I could think of without ever thinking of As You Like It. Cute idea, but a different sex-shifting Shakespearean role would work better.

	Thank you all for playing. Regarding the Trojan Horse, I was generous and allowed the Iliad which to my knowledge doesn't actually feature the Trojan Horse, as well as the Odyssey and Aeneid which do. For the "reading books" clue, the "You" is what is meant to make it stand out as that book is one of the few that uses the second person but perhaps I could have made it more explicit. @Hernani, good point about Ganymede but it's out of my power now.

	@shizah!: Thank you for acknowledging the fact that there is a book within a book in 1984. Your approval means a lot to me. Never once did I mention that I felt that 1984 should be the answer to the hint, I was just relating the hint to a previous occasion in which I had encountered a book within a book, and lamenting about the fact that I could not get that idea out of my head. I am sorry if I have caused any confusion. Had I voiced any hatred towards the author of this quiz in my previous comment, your condescending words would be understood and taken as constructive criticism. Kind of like "Hey. He was referring to ___ instead of the thing you wanted to appear. Next time, try to completely understand the meaning of the hint before displaying your displeasure." However, this was not the case. I did not display any hatred towards the author for making that hint, therefore constructive criticism like that is unnecessary. I was simply stating the similarities between the hint and the actions played out in 1984. In other words, I realize that I am not wrong about 1984 having to do with a book within a book, and I know that it was not the right answer to the quiz, nor do I wish it to be accepted by the quiz as an alternative answer.

	While the Trojan Horse is recounted in the Aeneid, th answer should undoubtedly be the Odyssey. It recounts the TRojan War, but the Iliad ends before the end of the war, and the use of the Trojan Horse. The first time it appears is in Book IV of the Odyssey.

	For the Aeneid, you should change the name to Ulysses (Ulixes) as that is name used by Virgil to refer to Odysseus. Using Odysseus implies one of the Greek epics. I know you accept the Greek epics but for your clue to actually correspond with the Aeneid, you should use the name in that text.

	The Trojan War story is part of a much larger cycle of eight poems, of which only the Iliad and Odyssey survive. The Trojan Horse is in the fourth and fifth parts (the "little Iliad" or "Iliad pt. 2 I suppose, and the "Sack of Ilium"). The Iliad (pt. 1) is the second poem, so it doesn't mention the horse (it's actually almost entirely devoted to how pissed off Achilles is). It is mentioned in The Odyssey, which is the sixth poem. Of course, centuries later, Vergil presumably knew the complete cycle, and his account of the Horse in the Aeneid comes from the parts that we no longer have. So there you go...The Iliad is technically incorrect because the events of that poem take place in the middle of the war, years before the Trojan Horse is built.
