I added Aluminium and Sulphur as alternates. I based my time on how the alphabetical countries has 20 minutes with 195 entries. I figured 15 min would suffice for 118 elements. However, I will consider a change in time. What recommendation would you make?

This may be hard at first, but you will improve each time you take it. It is just another way to familiarize yourself with the elements aside from looking at the periodic table.

i think the 15 minutes is perfect... it makes it harder to get all the elements and if there was more time itd be too easy...

Yeah I'd say 20 - if you won't get them in that then you just won't get them. Good quiz though :) Slightly surprised to get all the way up to 92 first time but having done alphabetical countries this is my new challenge. Forgot Iron/Sulfur/Sodium as well :s

It would be great if you could update this with Copernicum!

There is a minor issue here with the spelling of element 55. The IUPAC recommends the spelling "caesium" but accepts the alternative spelling "cesium". Of course the difficulty in this quiz is that the placement of this element in the list depends on which spelling is used. I don't really know how to get around this.

I did it with minutes to spare, but then I've done this one a hundred times for practice: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Heresy/publicbyletter. It groups them by letter but doesn't demand order.
