Maybe you should accept Richard Amerike as an alternate answer for question 1 since it's disputed which one it was named after (Could have been named after both of them for all we know).

Yeah, there is no state south of Virginia named after George Washington. I kept trying King George II (Georgia) and Elizabeth I (Virginia).

It doesn't say that there the state named after Washington is south of Virginia. The answer to #3 is British Columbia.

British Columbia was only named after Christopher Columbus by a few degrees of separation. Robert Gray named his ship Columbia after Columbus. He then named the Columbia River after his ship. Queen Victoria then named British Columbia after the river.
