hardly a dynasty. The braves of the 90s and the phillies of the past 4 years are the best exampes of NL dynasties since 1985

You're missing the point. He's saying there are no dynasties. Incredible that in the last 25 years, no NL team has won more than a single championship except the marlins 2.

It's really interesting. Actually, you could go back as far as '83 since the '82/'06 Cardinals would be the next NL team to repeat.

My first thought is that there's a lot of parity in the NL. However, when I realized the NL has won only 9/26 Series since 1983 and still half of the NL franchises haven't won a Series since 1983, it kind of signals a big shift to the AL, which I have to reluctantly accept.
