	See, here's the thing... I was in middle school in 1999, so even though a lot of this music is crap, I kind of love it anyway. This quiz could have been titled "all the music that Laura thought was awesome during the first year that she ever thought music was awesome." So thank you for this trip down mediocre music memory lane.

	For some songs, you could get it right by guessing the "featured" artist (e.g., guessing Jay-Z gave me the Juvenile song), but that is not the case for others (e.g., guessing R. Kelly did not give me "Satisfy You"). Please make it consistent.

	BSB gave me "I want it that way" but I had to type in Backstreet Boys to get "All I have to give". Might want to fix that. I can visualize so many of these videos... yet I can't tell you what a single video from the last year looks like. TRL was **** but at least it had videos.

	wound up with 25, but i should have at least doubled that... a lot i knew, just couldn't remember for the life of me who sang... I do agree, it was a bit easier just randomly guessing names, or guessing for 1 and getting 5 answers... but some of us need that handicap!! Thank you for not guessing in order lol :)

	in 1999 i was 11, and it was the first year i was allowed to listen to pop radio. so despite how bad some people think this list may be, it's got an epic nostalgia factor for me (as is evidenced by the fact i pulled out a 71, lol). :D

	Regardless of the quality of the year, I believe 1999 was one of the highest grossing years for CDs ever by a landslide. Also, I'm too lazy to find a citation for that statement. It just made it hilarious in the next year that the RIAA came out and said "Napster and mp3 piracy has damaged the recording industry tremendously. CD sales are down from last year by x%." What they didn't say was: "Even though sales are down from 1999 by x%, they are still significantly higher than they were from the previous year!" Ahh, statistics. Lying about anything with math.
