Is it the mark of a crazy person if they try SHOUT CHAIN before they spot SOUTH CHINA?
Sep 18th, 2011 at 12:50 GMT
Nah, maybe a creative mind? :)

Hey, maybe you should feel unique... "hey, I am maybe the only person in the world that would think... 'hey, I know, SHOUT CHAIN!', kutos.

@bowsntoys The standard for scrambles is to use all capital letters in the scrambled portion. It is easier on the eyes, and people get a lot of complaining comments when they are lowercase. It would be awesome if you could upper case all those, since all the published ones are. :)

@sproutcm: You need to check 2 games: "Disney Characters" (kfox) Published 26Oct10 and "Mystery Countries" (Alidee) Published 3Nov10. Both are featured on the front page of the Mixed Word home page, and right now, the Disney game is the 3rd most popular game.
I agree that most games are in caps, but it is incorrect to say that ALL published ones are. Thank you for the suggestion, and I will change my game. :)

I don't want to get too personal, but I've actually had banaria before. I turned yellow and was high in potassium. *rimshot*

I may be walking into some thumbs down, however this is curiosity and not ignorance, but are gulfs and bays really considered seas?
Dec 30th, 2011 at 09:45 GMT
Wred, you are correct. They are called gulfs, bays, oceans and seas for a reason, and all those bodies of water have distinctive differences.

The clue for mediterranean is missing an E. Really threw me off.
Dec 30th, 2011 at 14:27 GMT
@scify, no it isn't. The clue has three of them and so does the actual word.

Very difficiult to see the gulf of Mexico as a sea
Dec 31st, 2011 at 01:35 GMT
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I've just gotten back on the computer after very long airport delays.
Here is a good definition of a sea: One of the larger bodies of salt water, less than an ocean, found on the earth's surface; a body of salt water of second rank.
Here is my source for the list of the seas: http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/newart/locator/majorsea.htm
