BombaySapphire : Dec 5th, 2011 at 07:59 GMT 1 point The answer to ULEEKEL ought to have a second U in place of the first E. Rescramble accordingly.
bowsntoys : Dec 5th, 2011 at 12:57 GMT -3 points ^@: Both spellings are acceptable; therefore, I'm going to leave the current spelling so the stats don't get messed up. I hope you still enjoyed the game. :)
trick39berry : Dec 5th, 2011 at 14:02 GMT 3 points @bowsntoys. I had the same problem with the U clue as @BombaySapphire. Actually, the first E should be REPLACED with a U. I have a *ULEEKEL* in my room from my recent vacation, and that is how it is spelled. I also looked it up and when I tried Googling it, the spelling correct changed it to this. All of the results spelled it like that also and said that was the correct spelling. But if you did find a source where it states that yours is also an acceptable spelling, that is fine. I just couldn't find one. Great quiz, by the way!
bowsntoys : Dec 6th, 2011 at 14:58 GMT 2 points @trick39berry: Nice argument! I shall change it. Btw, my source is dictionary.com :)

zalkon2004 : Feb 5th, 2012 at 04:59 GMT 1 point Fun one! It's funny, I always have more trouble with the shorter words on mixed words. Except for the word for V in this one, can't hide that yummy stuff.
Rayavi : Feb 5th, 2012 at 05:52 GMT 13 points "BLAKSY" should also be marked with an asterisk.
bowsntoys : Feb 5th, 2012 at 07:55 GMT 3 points @Rayavi: You're right. I've put in a request to Sporcle to change it. Unfortunately, once a game is published, the gamemaker can't make changes.

Comment below threshold: show it ezois : Feb 5th, 2012 at 16:47 GMT -15 points x-ray, xerox, xenon, xenophobe, xylophone, xylem
demonstah : Feb 5th, 2012 at 16:47 GMT 6 points @ezois - and which of those contains a K?
Comment below threshold: show it drjoe1e6 : Feb 5th, 2012 at 17:00 GMT -8 points Maybe with a couple asterisks, KEX (a dry hollow stalk)? Though it's pretty easy to unscramble something like XKE!
bowsntoys : Feb 5th, 2012 at 20:19 GMT 2 points drjoe1e6: I use words that I'm pretty sure people have heard of; there are usually place names I could fill in the missing letters with, but that's not much fun. Hopefully somebody from Sporcle will fix the * on the S clue soon; of course it being a Sunday AND Super Bowl Sunday, that may be why it's taking longer than usual. :)
Stran : Feb 5th, 2012 at 22:02 GMT 2 points What, no Sporkle? :-)
