	I feel like I should point out that the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew series were written by multiple authors. The answers given here were the "house names" for those two series. See also Nick Carter and V.C. Andrews.

	As per sdh, it would be nice to have "Statemeyer," "Wirt Benson" and a couple of other names as bonuses. More importantly, it's "CONAN Doyle" not "Doyle."

	ntnon - The way the Sporcle code works, if last name is accepted, it will always take the last word in the answer - so there's no good way to force it to accept Conan Doyle and not Doyle short of a tedious coding of every entry on the quiz. I've run into the problem on a couple of ones I've written - most notably Toms, Dicks, and Harrys, where the answer "Dirty Harry" had to take Harry Callahan as the primary answer, and simply "Dirty" as the alternate so that typing "Harry" didn't give it to you.

	@Hermes: That's the toys (German, I think.) I'm not sure, but I think they're a separate thing to the books - though I've never heard of them, so I could be wrong.

	I would also add the "Tomorrow, When The War Began" series by John Marsden, which has seven books. Alternatively, Marsden's character Ellie Linton could be posed as a clue, as she was not only the main protagonist in said series, but also had a sequel trilogy, "The Ellie Chronicles". James Patterson's "Women's Murder Club", at seven books and counting, should also be on here.

	A couple of other ideas if they ever make a sequel of this game would be L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House on the Prairie.

	Great concept - agree that a sequel would be welcome. Nice mix of genres & time periods. However, feel like a bit of an idiot for not guessing the Berenstains!

	Worked in a bookstore and still didn't get them all. I always confuse Cleary and Blume, but that didn't really matter.

	Seems some people need to feel superior by dismissing that which is currently popular. While I have not read the books myself, I have heard from many avid readers, including readers of classic novels, that they were very good and very well written. It begs the question of the two who felt the need to disparage the series: Did either of you even read any of the titles of the series?
