| It sure seems to be in order based on who's at the top of the list, but there are a heck of a lot of "wtf"s if it is supposed to be ordered 1 to 100. McNair at 15? Cunningham and McNabb ahead of Aikman? Brunell, Gannon, McMahon, and Brad Johnson all around 30-40? Kordell Stewart, Elvis Grbac, and Jay Fielder anywhere near a top 100 list? It seems virtually any quarterback to set foot on a field in a Super Bowl automatically becomes top 100. I think Hostetler, Rypien, Humphries, and O'Donnell could all be off this list if not for their one shining moments. It seems crazy that Doug Williams is at #98, when he is mostly remembered for one unbelievable quarter on the big stage, while Jim Plunkett, who's on a pretty short list of multiple Super Bowl winners, and had a 15-year career. is at #97. Poor Trent Dilfer and Jake Delhomme didn't make the cut apparently, although if they've seen Jake play in the last two years, they might have had him stricken from the list ala Reggie Bush. I'm guessing Hasselbeck would be about 40- 50 spots lower if this list was compiled today, as his career has become a lot less impressive since 2007. |
