I like it. (53 seconds might have something to do with that.)

My one problem with this is that I think that you should only answer the most recent president at a particular time. The way you have it set up right now, people can just click on them and go in order.

@NCBerge: If that is a feature of user-created games, I am unaware of how to implement it. As far as I know, all ordered quizzes allow you to skip around if you want. It is clear from the results that not all quiz takers are going in order, but those that want to accept the intended challenge themselves are free to do so.

You know, this is actually probably easier than the other quiz. It's a whole lot easier to start with what you know and work backwards than try to fill in a gap you're not sure about.

In the interest of time, could you allow "fdr" as an answer?

I have added the new feature Sporcle debuted today. Answers are now forced to be in order, and no skipping is allowed. People were not happy with this feature on random knowledge type quizzes, but it lends itself perfectly to ordered lists.

Not too hard if you're good at the regular U.S. Presidents quiz, but it's a little tricky with the repeats that you're used to getting filled in for you (Bush, Johnson, Roosevelt, Cleveland, Harrison, Adams).

if you can't skip ahead, why is it that a higher percentage of people got earlier presidents right more often than later presidents? for example, more people got george washington right than grover cleveland.

I like the new format, but I wish you could see the ones you didnt get, instead of just empty boxes with a question mark.

@ItsMeAgain: I'm betting there was a skip feature before it got published, and the results statistics have carried over.

@itsmeagain: It could also be because those people who get past the middle presidents usually get all of them, and since a plurality of people finish the quiz, there are lots of hits for those early ones. However, of those who don't get all of them, they probably all get tripped up on the same middle presidents, thus cutting their quizzes short and making the president immediately after those toughies the most commonly missed answers.

Cleveland messed me up. I forgot about the 'non-consecutive-terms' deal. Grr
