This quiz would work a lot better if you didn't require people to go in order.

I started typing 'Anderson' and it gave me Luis Castillo halfway through...

Yeah I don't know what to do about the Anderson/Castillo thing, it just does it. I think its a bug, not quite sure, but the only things accepted for Castillo according to the creation page are Luis Castillo and Castillo. Go figure.

@DonnyB: Oh yeah, because red, white, and blue must be for the uniquely-colored Cubs. No way could it be for the Braves, Dodgers, Phillies, Cardinals, Nationals, Red Sox, Indians, Angels, Twins, Yankees, or Rangers who also wear those colors. Just a thought, but it might actually be for the official colors of THE MLB too. Ugh... Cubs fans.

@bittyslayer, there's probably an alternate answer for Castillo and you have a space before the slash. Luis Castillo/Castillo will not give you the answer if you have the and. Luis Castillo / Castillo will bring up the answer if someone types "and" or "the".

I knew who it was and once owned him on a fantasy team, but couldn't for the life of me think of Randy Winn's name.

Love the idea but the only problem with the quiz is the club you associate with some of the players. Tejada & Astros? Jim Thome & Dodgers? Orlando Cabrera & Twins? These guys played one or two years for these clubs, aren't really known for doing so, and aren't on the squads currently. I realize some like Beltre are tough and there isn't really one answer to it, but I would go with a different team for those 3 mentioned. That's my only grief.

I know this quiz was created a while ago, but it's time to update it.

Just to echo some others, the team association is pretty random. Vlad is a Angel still, yet Manny isn't a Red Sock? Are you using the team that the player is most associated with, or their current team? Some of these are neither. Tejada as an Astro? Anderson as a Brave?

Tejada's an oriole, vladimir's a ranger, damon's a tigers, pierre is a white sock, polanco is a phillie, berkman is a yankee, derrek lee is a brave, winn is a cradinal, thome is a twin, and beltre is a red sock

Does it list the date the game was created anywhere? That would have helped. Or even better, you should rename the first column to "team as of [date of game]"

It hasn't really been updated. Damon still isn't a Yankee. Giles isn't a Padre.

A good idea might be to list the team with whom each player got the most hits since 2000.
