	Wow. What a nostalgic trip! It amazed me how many of these songs I could still sing all the way through, but couldn't recall the artist's name-- always more into the music than the performer. Great quiz.

	I love the fact that most of these are my favourite bands. Got all of 'em except The Bee Gees, The Animals, Donovan, Rolling Stones and Lulu (I know and like other songs by the first four, but didn't know those particular songs). Not bad I 'spose since I'm 19.

	Excellent quiz, a few I didn't get because of using less famous songs (heck, being born in 1977 I've got a bit of an excuse!). I agree about not using Jonathan King in this quiz given what later emerged about him.

	@VAredsox: some of the songs were knew to me too, but most were unknewn :) I like these quizzes where you can just close your eyes and try to think of British Invasion bands, or you can look at the clues for a little extra hint/help. Using some of their lesser known songs was perfect IMO.

	I purposely chose slightly lesser known songs to make it a bit more challenging for music buffs. I had no idea this would get played so much! Despite what troubles Jonathan King has gotten himself into (as well as Gary Glitter, James Brown, Chuck Berry and Pete Townshend for that matter!), he still had a big hit in the 60s. History doesn't change, folks, despite what may come after to spoil it. The Bee Gees issue has come up a lot. Barry Gibb was 12 when they moved to Australia for 10 years. Their biggest hits came upon their return to England, where they were part of the "British Invasion" scene and always identified themselves as British.

	The songs I mentioned also charted during the period. I could have also mentioned "Love Is All Around," another hit by the Troggs. There are gradations of difficulty with quizzes; this one happens to be a bit more challenging. Choosing songs that "most" don't know is precisely the point.

	@billymac - it's okay to choose lesser known songs but the title of the quiz says its based on their "famous" songs. With a Girl Like You is fine and maybe you could have used Love is All Around, but other songs are really stretching the definition of "famous".

	@Duuude ... why not? With a girl like you is an absolute tune!!! Though to b fair I was about to moan about the clue given for Donovan, I tried the shadows over and over for Atlantis. I expected something like Sunshine Superman or catch the wind for Donovan. But maybe I just need to listen to him a bit more. LAso how come it accepts surnames for Petula Clark and Dusty but not for Jonathan King? Nearly missed him cause of that!
