You should note that this does not include Western Asia (i.e., the Middle East).

I don't know if the source is including the middle east. I was wondering myself why saudi arabia, israel, kuwait, qatar, the UAE, and oman were not on this list

On the source, Middle East is written separately.

Taiwan according to some people is not considered an independent country, so it depends on the source.

I understand that sources vary in how they characterize countries or non-recognized countries, but there's a reason there's a sporcle standard. The Asian middle east is considered Asia. Besides, Bahrain and Israel are not on the Arabian peninsula and would qualify so disqualifying the Arabian peninsula isn't the disclaimer you need. Also - how about Russia, Cyprus and Lebanon? If your source includes those countries in other places, you should recategorize them to fit in sporcle standard.

need to change the note from "Does not include the Arabian Peninsula" to "Does not include Middle East" - Kuwait, Israel, Iran, and Lebanon all have GDP's that qualify and are not on the Arabian Peninsula, but are in the Middle East (or better yet, just merge the 2 lists so there is no need for a note)

Russia is a relativly poor country so it doesn't qualify

According to the source Russia has a GDP per capita of $15,800 and Turkey has a GDP per capita of $12,900 so both would easily make the list, but they are listed under Europe
