E.g 'Every Rose has it's Thorn' > 'Every Rose Has its Thorn'; 'Who Are You' was relaeased > released; 'Permadent Vacation' > Permanent; MalcoLm Young spells him name with two L's; insturment > instrument; 'Carrry on my Wayward Son' > Carry; Who is the name of the Black Crowes lead singer > Who is the Black Crowes' lead singer. Oh, and better to say Which country is U2 from -- not was -- because they're still from there.

	"Can you name the answers to these questions provint you know classic rock?" Proving? Even though I got it right, I don't agree that knowing what state John Fogerty is from, or knowing several of these other questions, is a good barometer of whether or not I "know Classic Rock". And Slash is also famous for being in another band other than GNR. Lastly, please accept last names.

	Good idea, bad execution. The Sammy Hagar question is worded weirdly. Why are you asking where U2 "was" from in the past tense? Are they not still from Ireland? And I think the name of the song is just Carry on Wayward Son. I don't think "my" is part of the title. I could go on. I will disagree with burtdoggy about Slash though. Yes he is in another band and yes people know he is in it. If the question was just "What band was/is Slash in you'd have to accept the other one in addition to GnR. But I still think it's correct to say he's famous for being in GnR, so I think you have that one right. He's not famous for being in Velvet Revolver. I mean, people know Paul McCartney was in Wings but he's not famous for being in Wings. He's famous for being in The Beatles. And to echo soldamerican's point, clicking on a classic rock quiz and seeing the first question be about the Barenaked Ladies was one of the weirder experiences I've had on Sporcle.

	CCR is from Northern California. They are not Southern Rock, though I'm sure they inspired some of those bands.

	And by the way, the original version was by Bob Marley - but you're right to put Clapton, Bob Marley was reggae, not classic rock.
