The News of the world? Plus isn't the Times a bigger seller than the Telegraph?

The News of the World is only published on a Sunday. I believe it's the Sunday version of The Sun. Very entertaining quiz!

You say UK Newspaper, but you haven't included the Scottish ones - Scotman, Herald etc - which have higher circulations than some of your latter ones.

The Sun doesn't deserve to actually be called a newspaper.

@lwfc and @toungesten. U should read the question - neither NotW or Observer are published daily

How about Metro? I believe it's given away, but it should still have circulation figures. You need to supply your source, Biggers.

@rockgolf. Thanks, I'm new to this contributing bit. Got this from the Audit Bureau of Circulations

ABC circulation probably won't provide Metro figures to the same extent because you can't count free copies in the same way as paid-for-copies. Good quiz.

"The People"? and why include MEN? Its a local paper I believe?

@TMB - The People is not a daily paper. MEN is a local paper but it is daily and has a huge circulation so meets criteria for inclusion

MEN is controversial, yes it's a daily paper, but then you have a point to put in alot of local newspapers.

Don't see how the MEN is controversial ... it's daily and has one of the highest ciruclations. Nowhere in the question does it ask for National papers. Other local papers could, I'm sure, be included if their circulations were higher than others listed here.

Evening Standard is also a local paper but no-one seems to be complaining about that...
